Association " Legacy of The Nomadic Civilizations" - Dobrich - Early Medieval Reconstruction of Bulgarians
Restorations and the love in history go hand in hand. Back in the 2006, Jordan began collecting information about Bulgarians from the VI – VIII centuries. It was interesting because there were no findings, and everything was gathered letter by letter, grain by grain. Then it came to light and his website Turaniq.com which in 2013 acquires its present appearance.
One of his characters is a 12th-century Kuman warrior. The Cumans are tribes of the Russian steppes, loyal military allies of the Bulgarian khans. Some of them have settled on the territory of present-day Bulgaria and have left their cultural footprint in our history. Typical for them are the hairstyles of several braids and the wearing of metal "bras", probably for protection purposes. An interesting character with whom Jordan wants to show the diversity in the period of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom.
Another Jordan’s character is a lightweight warrior from the period VII - VIII century (First Bulgarian Kingdom). This image allows him to show more of the lifestyle of the people from that time. As a Hunan leader from the IV – V centuries (Late Antiquity), Jordan represents one of the enemies of the Roman Empire. Jordan presents his characters in restorations in Pliska, Mezdra, Asenovgrad, Tarnovo, Pavlikeni, Nikup, Karnunt - Austria and others.
